Favorite Memory: Watching our children react to the villa & the amazing view upon arrival! We felt like we walked into a scene from the old TV show, “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous”!

Comments: This has been our best family vacation ever due to the amazing people and breath taking scenery. The owners were gracious to stop by for a visit. Jon & Barbara – You have designed an incredible villa for families to come and get away from the hectic life back home. We had more “quality time” as a family at this villa than ever before. Favorite Memory: Spending time at the villa truly gave us time to relax and enjoy time with our family and friends. Enjoying the beautiful views during the day ad sitting around the firepit at night were special memories with our family.

Comments: You can clearly see the hard work and dedication Jon and Barbara put into this villa to make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy and have fun. I will never forget when we walked in the door and took it all in. Words cannot describe. Jon and Barbara, It was so nice meeting you! You made this trip perfect for us! This place is truly amazing – the views, the privacy, all the amenities and so many surprising details made it a vacation we’ll never forget and one we look forward to repeating. Barbara is a fantastic communicator and provided plenty of helpful/useful advice for our stay. It’s evident that a lot of attention and care has been put into make this the ideal getaway – can’t wait to get back!

Favorite Memory: Sitting in the hammocks when the outdoor lights went out & star gazing – it doesn’t get this dark in our city. The sky has depth that we don’t get the opportunity to notice.

To the Architect: Amazing design that is layered with so many intentional moves that allow this home to work for the guests so the guests do not have to. Bravo!

To the Contractors: Your precision in all of the tile, the lighting, the window setting, the gutter channels, the ceilings is flawless – thank you for showing off your skills in this home.

To the Interior Designer: The finishes & cohesiveness of them along with the exterior surroundings allows one to transform while visiting – thank you!

To the Homeowners: Your dream and the expectations you maintained while bringing this to fruition is evident – we are so thankful you have chosen to share this with us! Thank you!

Favorite Memory: So many to choose from! Spending so much uninterrupted time with great friends (4 couples here), swimming in the sound, soaking up the run rays, running, exploring some of the island and visiting Smith’s Reef.

Comments: This place is truly amazing and was a huge blessing to us! Thank you for all the little detail that went into planning this luxury villa. We loved having the sound system. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. What a beautiful location. Thank you for a great vacation!

Our family and friends, total of 4 adults & 4 children ages (17,16,15,13) stayed at Villa Ombre the 1st week of April 2018 for Spring Break. I found the listing on Airbnb and was first drawn to the views and that the villa was brand new. Little did we know just how special this place was going to be for our family & friends for the week. Barbara was very helpful & informative prior to arrival to ensure we knew exactly what the home included, kayaks, SUP’s, floats, snorkel gear, beach chairs, etc… trust me we took advantage of them all as everything was meticulously maintained and readily available. Barbara also gave us great restaurant recommendations and pre-arrival/direction instructions. We arrived at Villa Ombre to 2 smiling faces, Jenny & Neko the sweetest most attentive property managers. The gorgeous double doors were opened to reflect the amazing walk through views to your outdoor pool(s), sitting area, fire pit and hot tub. Did I mention there are 3 pools, AMAZING! Jenny & Neko gave us a thorough tour and explanation of the home so we would know how to operate and find everything we would need during our stay. We also loved how attentive they both were to all the details of the home as they, Barbara & Jon want you to feel comfortable during your visit and for it to be your home away from home but we also kept in mind that this home was certainly built by a labor of love and to we wanted to take care of it like it was our own because it was just that BEAUTIFUL! The kids quickly found their rooms, many to choose from and all the comforts of home. There are 2 identical bunk rooms that could have comfortably fit 8 kids with a connecting hangout room with bean bags, tvs, wii, xbox and the fire pole. 🙂 Our kids only hung out 1 night in the kid room to watch a movie because the rest of the time they enjoyed the beauty of outside and the water. We all took a ride down the fire pole for fun, what a neat touch for the “kids” Barbara & Jon. The 2 main master bedrooms that the adults stayed in were beautifully decorated and the outdoor showers/tub with views were amazing. The next several days we were fortunate enough to have our kids “disconnect” from electronics (trust me there is wifi, several tvs, etc to use but our kids voluntarily wanted to take advantage of this amazing home and all it had to offer. We relaxed by the pools, kayaked in the Chalk Sound, snorkeled, grilled lunches at the pool side grill, napped in the hammocks, relaxed under the stars at night in the hot tub and found ourselves in bed early so we could rise early and take in another full day at Villa Ombre. We left property only a few times for a couple excursions but could have stayed…

Favorite Memory: The reaction of our kiddos to the scenery of the villa upon arrival ! The fire pit, paddle boarding, kayaking, family time around the pool & sofa. Many naps at the hammock & the A.M.A.Z.I.N.G views!! <3

Comments: Villa Ombre! We have had a wonderful vacation, thank you! Barbara & Jon, thank you for opening up your home for us to enjoy. We took advantage of the pool(s), hot tub, fire pit, hammocks. You left no little detail or comforts of home out. Villa Ombre is home and so comfortable, thank you! Jenny & Neko were awesome property managers and we appreciated how attentive they were <3! Thank you for all of the memories and amazing time we had here, we are already planning our next trip back to enjoy this amazing home!

The house and amenities = fantastic. The location and view = relaxing and gorgeous. The on-site support and service = amazing. The detailed preplanning and helpful advice and quick responses to a bunch of questions to plan your trip = incredible, the best we have ever experienced. Jon and Barbara’s house and rental experience allowed my friend and me to celebrate our 40th birthdays with 13 close friends in the absolute best way possible. Their place allowed us to have group fun and dinners and drinks at the pool, fire pit, hot tub, and ocean. Yet was big enough and nice enough to enable us to have space to be independent and relax. Their support and helpfulness really helped make out 40th the best experience. This was a very, very well-traveled group of people and expectations were high—this place knocked it out of the park.

Ombre Villa will be much more than you expect! Pictures do not this home justice or express the many luxury details the home offers. My family is used to accommodations equivalent to the Ritz Carlton. I was hesitant to use Airbnb for this reason but have been very pleasantly surprised, so much so that we will no longer look to stay at 5 star resorts. Barbara’s home was the second Airbnb home we rented and wow did it impress us. The house managers Niko and Jenny are amazing! They greeted us with fragrant cool wash cloths and cold drinking water. Upon our arrival, the home sound system was playing Caribbean music and the patio doors were wide open, providing our family with an unforgettable welcome experience. Barbara thought of every detail in designing the home. Two families consisting of eleven stayed at Ombre Villa and we enjoyed every single amenity … the sauna, steam room, gym, amazing pools, swim up bar, barbecue, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling, board games and our children loved the video games. Everything in the home is top quality, even the Frontgate patio furniture. This trip was the best vacation our family has had to date and we have traveled to many places. The ocean is a perfect back drop of luxury for this home. We cannot wait to return! Thank you so much Barbara for all the welcome details and for being such a gracious host!

Favorite Memory: Walking into the villa and being in awe of the view. Pictures do not do the villa justice. Kayaking at the beach was such a fun experience.

Comments: Every detail is thought of, we literally used every party of the house. The architect and décor was perfect. The property managers Neko and Jenny were incredibly friendly and informative (loved the welcoming wash cloths! ) Sitting at the swim up bar while BBQ’ing was fabulous. Amenities are high end and amazing quality. We will definitely love to come back again. Loved Villa Ombre. Thank you!

Favorite Memory: The villa views, snorkeling, Iguana Island, exploring the Island and eating at all of the great restaurants!!

Comments: The villa is stunning; the views are to die for and was an excellent backdrop to spending quality time with family. The staff were so kind and always a phone call away and willing to answer any questions we had. We made a lot of memories here and we thank you Barbara & family for sharing your slice of paradise with us. Till next time…

Favorite Memory: Late night hot tub conversations under the incredible stars.

Comments: There was a group of 10 old and new friends and we all loved this gorgeous villa! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved cooking and eating together while enjoying the amazing views of the water. Can’t wait to come back and make even more memories!

This Villa and our vacation were phenomenal. Would highly recommend…

The attention to detail and amenities were second to none. From the stunning view to the luxurious accommodations, we were in paradise. I cannot say enough good things about our stay and the Villa. It was all we had hoped for and more. Will definitely return to this Villa.

Beautiful home with an incredible view. We were very impressed with their professionalism. Villa Ombre pretty much has everything you could imagine and Barbara was a great host.

Favorite Memory: Walking thru front door & getting cold towels and refreshments from Neko & Jenny. Kayaking to smaller islands in the sound, Sonos audio system & playing music at the pool, grilling, swimming in the sound, relaxing by the fire pit AND one of my favorite memory is taking showers outside the ensuite bath.

Comments: We come from construction background and we were very impressed with the craftmanship of the home. The owners were wonderful & they couldn’t have picked a better set of property managers in Jenny & Neko. Neko recommended a great chef and we had one of the best dinners of our life. We highly RECOMMEND this chef to all future guests. Jenny helped book a boat that took us deep sea fishing & island hopping. Barbara has provided heaven on earth with all the amenities and features. Kids loved the bunk beds & game room, we used the gym daily which was a lot of help the way we ate. Charging stations by beds, mid-week cleaning, fire pit next to pool & spa, pool lights with colors, Big Ass fan, Sonos music, outdoor showers, custom tile, grill. This list goes on and on and I would run out of ink. Sapodilla, Grace Bay & Leeward Beaches are the favorites. Las Brisas, Flamingos, Garam Masala & Mango Reef were some of our favorite restaurants. We all have created so many beautiful memories here. Thank you Barbara for sharing a piece of your paradise with us. We will definitely be coming back for THE VIEW @ Villa Ombre!!!!
